A group of three items to SS policeman
Bernhard Schefferling. An SS police Soldbuch with the mans photo
and numerous entries. The man served in the 1st war and was awarded
the Mecklenburg cross with swords and cross of honour with swords.
Schefferling served with the Hamburg police from September 44
until May 45. The swastikas in the rubber stamps have been inked
over but are still visable. The mans Wehrpas with photo is in
VG+++ condition. Lastly the mans Kennkarte also in VG+++
to better condition but with its photo missing. As it is dated
15 Juli 1945 so any sign of the nazi era was removed. |

A group of items to one man, SS Sturmann
Karl Wenzel who was attached to AA artillery abteilung 101 and
501 of LAH. The items are, SS Soldbuch without photo (no photo
ever been in the book), rare SS Fuhrerschein (driving licence)
again without a photo and never had one, Gefundheitspass, and
the card that was sent by the allies to Wenzels family informing
them of his capture and now being a POW. The cover of the Soldbuch
is now detached but the book is complete, the rest of the docs
are in VG++ to VG+++ condition. The details of which POW camps
Wenzel was sent to is shown in his Soldbuch. |

A Waffen – SS Wehrpass to
Josef Vossen of the Totenkopf division. The man volunteered for
the waffen ss in April 1940 and served in 1/SS T. Inf.Rgt.10
and 9/5 SS T-I.R. until November 1941 when he changed to 3. (then
5) /SS Totenkopf Sturmbann Sachsenhausen where he was until October
23rd 1942. From the 24th of October 1942 the stamps show it as
WAFFEN – SS KOMMANDENTUR DES KONZ. LAGERS SACHSENHAUSEN.Vossen
was promoted three times in his known career as a camp guard
at Sachsenhausen and ended up as an Unterscharfuhrer. VG+++ to
better condition and well filled in. |

A Waffen – SS Wehrpass to
Anton Kucharzewski. The man served in the 1st war and earned
the Iron cross 2nd class and cross of honour with swords while
serving with the Imperial artillery 15 & 21cm mortar units.
Between the wars 1923/35 he served in Reiter Regt. 2 a cavalry
unit. From August 39 to March 40 he served with the Allenstein
military district command after which he was discharged. December
43 sees him called up again and served with various T.A.
units until August 44 when he was transferred to the SS concentration
camp service where he served with SS Totenkopf Sturmbann Buchenwald
until 30-9-44. On the 1st of October he was transferred to the
Buchenwald branch of SS- Totenkopf Mittelbau (Mittelbau-Dora)
at Nordhausen in the Hertz mountains where they made the V2 rockets.

An army issue Wehrpass to Paul Offenberger
a member of the 3./Pz.Abt. G.D. (Grossdeutschland). The book
is in VG+++ to better condition and shows the man was in the
unit from February 1942 onward. The entries show he took
part in the heavy fighting in Russia in the winter offensive
of 1942-43. He was proficient in the following weapons, K98 rifle,
P o8 pistol, Machine guns MG13 & 34, MP 38 & 40 and flak
gun 3.7cms. The book comes with its brown rexine imitation leather
cover that has pop fasteners and the eagle and swastika gold
blocked into it (the swastika on the on the cover has been removed)
and the word Wehrpass and DRGM. |

A group of documents to one man,
Axel Neb. The man served in the German version of the British
merchant navy, and worked for the German/Amerika line among others.
There are three SEEFAHRTSBUCHs covering the period 1933 to 1945.
Neb was only fifteen in 1933 and this was his first job. The
books cover his whole working career until the end of the war.
Each book has the mans photo and full details of the ships he
sailed on and the places he sailed to. On the 9th of March 1942
he is shown as being awarded the naval blockade breakers award.
As well as the three books mentioned there also is his civil
version of a Soldbuch, in fact it is a Soldbuch that has been
re titled GEBUHRNISBUCH KRIEGSMARINE WEHRMACHTGEFOLGE, this dated
1942 and with his photo. Also there are two black semi hard backed
book folders with the wording and eagle and swastika in gilt
blocking, titled DEUTSCHES REICH BEFAHIGUNGSZEUGNIS which I think
are for his licence or job description. Finally there are
a few postcards and items of paperwork plus the mans original
alloy dog tag that is stapled to the back of his Soldbuch. The
dog tag is worded Adm.K.M.D. Hamburg. Nr. 28507. All in VG+++
to better condition. |

A group of documents to the same
man, Rudolf Fricke a senior Nco and motor transport equipment
administrator. A Wehrpass dated from its issue in 1936 until
1945, A military driving instructors licence, (MILITAR=FAHRLEHRERSCHEIN) a
gas generated motor vehicle driving licence (BETRIEBSBERECHTIGUNGSSCHEIN)
and issued by the NSKK in Dortmund, and a scarce Auxiliary motor
vehicle specialist driving licence (SCHEIN FUR HILFS= WEHRMACHT=KRAFTFAHRFACHVERFTANDIGE).
There are two typed documents both dated after hostilities in
1945. The man served in a signals unit from 36 to 41 and then
with several motor transport units including Begleit-Kp-7.Pz.Div.
A motor transport unit attached to this armoured division that
saw service in northern Russia, Lithuania, Courland and Memel
etc. His last duties were with Kraftf.Abt.Z.b.V.2002 a special
duties motor transport unit active in the east. All in VG+++
condition. Only one entry of awards, this for the bronze army
drivers badge. |

A group of documents and photos relating
to one mans service. The man Heinrich Franke was an Nco in the
luftwaffe and served as an aircraft technical equipment specialist
for most of his career before ending up in 1944 being transferred
to Fallschirmjager Jg.Regt. 14 of 5. Fallsch. Jg. Division. Franke
served in Russia, France and Holland. The group consists of the
mans luftwaffe Soldbuch without photo as an early issue but with
the swastika on the front cover removed, the mans DLRG life saving
Grundschein qualification card with the mans photo in luft uniform
and 58 black/white personnel photos showing the numerous interesting
scenes. Also enclosed is his discharge certificate from the luftwaffe
after service from 20-2-1938 until 20-5-1938. The man is shown
as earning the war merit cross 2nd class with swords. All in
VG+++ to better condition. |

A group of documents to army artillery
Obergefreiter Alois Buhr who served from April to November 1942
with 11./Art.regt.53 of the 17th infantry division in Russian
before being transferred to France then Germany before being
in June 43 sent to 1./Art.Rgt.33 of the 15.Pz. Gren .division
formed in Sicily and southern Italy (Nettuno and Monte Casino.)
July 1944 saw him back in France and later wounded in his left
leg by a bullet wound. Consists of, re placement Wehrpass with
all details, tropical service certificate confirming him fit
for tropical service, military personal medical record book.
All items in VG+++ condition. Records show the m entitled to,
War merit cross 2nd class with swords, bronze drivers badge. |

and daughter living in Poland. A DEUTSCHE STENOGRAFENSCHAFT to
Magdalene Kramarczyk, also a BESCHAFTIGUNGS-AUSWEIS this with
photo. For both the mother and father a separate AUSWEIS
DER DEUTSCHEN VOLKSLISTE. Both of these with photos and details
and with blue cover to show they were permanent residents. The

A quite rare pair of documents contained
in their original sand coloured hard backed folder. Both of these
documents were given for the same reason, that of raising money
for use with the sick and injured in the SS and related units.
The first one shows that the men raised 35,000 Deutsche marks,
and is dated 21-3-1944 in Hamburg. The award is hand signed
by SS Standartenfuhrer HEINZ LIEDTKE. The second document shows
that the money raised was in honour of the 45th birthday of DES
SS – GRUPPENFUHRERS U GENERALLEUTNANT DER W-SS U. POLIZEI
GRAF v. BASSEWITZ – BEHR. This time the amount raised
was 9,000 DMs and no date quoted. This document is also
signed by LIEDTKE the same man as before but headed DER
STABSFUHRER DES SS – OBERABSCHNITTS NORDSEE. then the mans
signature, this time his rank is Oberfuhrer. The folder and documents
are about A4 size. The folder has a gold blocked coat of arms
of the city of Hamburg on the front. All in VG+++ condition. Heinz
Liedtke was chief of staff of oberabschnitt Nordsee between 1st
September 1943 and May 1945. Details from the Dienstalterliste
show that Heinz Liedtke was the holder of the SS honour
sword, the deaths head ring and War merit cross with swords 1st
class. Further details show that his NSDAP number was 289,252,
SS No 3905, and his seniority number in the entire SS was 1179.
An interesting man and an interesting group of docs. |
